The challenge was thrown down by bad-ass indie filmmaking guru Ingrid Veninger and The Royal Cinema exhibitor Stacey Donen to make a feature film this summer for 1K ($1,000) and we were one of five Toronto films that were chosen to answer! Financed under the pUNK FILMS label as a charter member of the 1K Wave we are shooting Mourning Has Broken this July and screening at the legendary Royal Cinema in September. 


This is a “day-in-the-death” dark comedy sure to rattle your knees, erect the right parts and hit you where it hurts! We are excited to have Robert Nolan starring in this film and helping us turn the streets of Toronto upside inside!"
